Tonight.
For fun I tried to fit these babies into my fave pre-preg stilettos and was quite insulted. Because? Well, helllooo!?
I had no salt today. I walked around. I propped my feet up at work some. I drank lots of fluids. But still, my legs have forsaken me. And so have the stilettos! I don’t get expensive shoes very often (once per decade) but when I splurge on a pair of pretty stilettos, they should do their job to make me look good. No matter what changes I have, the shoes should remain consistent in their ability to either be comfortable or great looking. They have always failed miserably at being practical or comfortable. But they could at least hold true to looking good on my feet; it’s a simple request! The shoes will pay for their lies and betrayal. I will leave them with nothing but the silver on their spike. Their ungrateful asses can go get a job in the real world!
Ahhh, yes they are pink alligator skinned. Yes they have silver spikes. No, I don’t wear them with socks with lace edges and they aren’t replicas of the ZZ Top girl’s heels. They were special in their day. Now I turn my back to them…

Beautiful as they are on feet, methinks they don’t look so good as utensil holders! Why have them there, taunting you, not even having to really work for their board? Holding kitchen utensils - bah! They don’t do it very well! Send them to purgatory until they’ve learnt their lesson and are allowed to come out and shine once again on your legs. Post baby, of course!
PS. I suspect these will be very handy in, oh, about 10 years time when your gorgeous little girl wants to play dress ups!

I was flipping thru some blogs and ran across yours and thought ” holy sh*t, she had pictures of MY feet and cankles on her website…”
My shoe story… 3 weeks ago found the greatest summer sandles and bought them in 3 colors. Along came parade balloon ankles and they haven’t even been out of the box.
Now, here I sit, semi-bed ridden until my little guy is born and not that I need them, no cool shoes to wear. But that’s okay, my clothes have deserted me as well.

i think it’s wonderful that you can wear stilleto’s. i just look like i’m drilling for oil.
