Wishes
I had a wonderful 31st birthday, celebrated over an entire weekend. A ski trip, an Applebees dinner, and today…
A day full of playing, reading, napping, walking, and even dirt pie making out in the sunshine (it was a whopping 42 degrees today).
The arts-n-crafts:
The nap (2 hours!). But I didn’t leave Noah in the “neck breaker”, I took him to bed with me. Can you believe the way babies can sleep like that?
Bella loves books so much, she falls asleep with them under her arm rather than a bear or doll!
Jeremy came home with a beautiful Tinker Bell cake for me, new headphones, and the latest Mary J. Blige CD. I’m so lucky and loved! He was lighting the candles on the cake after dinner when he lost his grip and the cake toppled to the ground. Bella immediately moved in to offer her clean up services (tongue to floor). Thank goodness I washed the floors today! The cake wasn’t as pretty after the fall, but it tasted wonderful. Being able to blow the candles out on the cake with my sweet girl is all that I really wanted. She and Noah were the answer to all the wishes I’ve made on shooting stars and birthday candles for 6 years of infertility. Here they are, beautiful and healthy.
