Random Blabber

Do you know how much I’m loving this whole stay-at-home stuff? Love it! I have a clean house, my children are happy and loved, and I have time for making yummy bread in my new (sort of) yard sale bought bread machine! I’m so super psyched! There’s a loaf baking right now for dinner. Smells deeee-lish! And what’s this stay-at-home mommy making for dinner to go with that yummy, hot bread? Bbq ribs, mac-n-cheese casserole, baked beans, and a salad.

Of course I’ll be the one eating more salad than anything else. But, ya know, I’m happy to feed them the stuff they love. I only lost 1 pound this week with the Trimspa. But I’m alright with that since I got a visit from Aunt Flo and she tends to make me a few pounds heavier.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’m lacking tunes, y’all. I’m really wanting Sarah McLachlan, Edie Brickell, or the Cranberries. I can’t help but think that maybe one of you might have the CD and might be interested in doing a swap. I don’t have many CD’s that don’t have scratches these days. But how about Amy Winehouse?! Everyone wants her CD! I’ve got it scratch free. Or I could make you a mix of songs I downloaded on iTunes. Wanna trade?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I’m making some money on eBay, y’all. Anything jean material makes money on eBay apparently. It also doesn’t make good material for making a quilt, which is what I plan to do with the rest of the outgrown baby clothes. So, I sold some jean overalls and jackets that I bought at yard sales when I was pregnant with Noah. I made the money I spent and then some. I’m going to use the money I make to help me pay for my blog remodel! Or that’s just what I say, I’m really doing it because I’m addicted to spending money on eBay and I have to compensate somewhere! I just earned my blue star, which says something about my eBay addiction! :-)

Well, that’s all I got for now, Folks. Got kind of a stupid post today, but you loves me anyways!

Congratulations on your Ebay-ing. I’ve bought a few things, but I’m chicken to sell it.

I am catching up and oh that picture of your poor feet! You must have felt awful!!! I love eBay too. I haven’t had anything to sell in a long time and I need to come up with something. I had just earned a star too. It is so much fun watching the bids when they start rolling in!

Send me an address and I will gladly send you a mix cd of new stuff. I am an iTunes holic and I have plenty to share!

I want to come to your house for dinner! Damn! Does your hubby realize how lucky he is??

If I had any of those cd’s, I would mail them to you, but I have gotten to where I just listen to the radio, or the other voices in my head! ;)

Yay! You lost a pound! That’s fantastic! Exspecially since you got the dreaded ‘curse’ (say it in a James Earl Jones-ish voice!)

I have quite a few Cranberries songs on my computer. I’ll burn you a cd if ya want. Any other requests. I’ll see what I have…

I made a quilt once, for a raffle, out of jean squares. Each row, had one square that had a pocket on it, and then some critter, like a snake, wandering out of it, that was sewn on. It was a huge hit, and I have often thought that jean fabric works- doesn’t it.

Congrats on that-

I have absolutely NO cd’s- but, I am an i-tuner.

I’d love to swap!

Thanks for the email today!

I don’t know your NICU story-

I love the blog look, but also love changes!

Lisa, the jean quilt idea is a fantastic one! That is an awesome idea. I think jean material would work just fine if you have a good sewing machine. Mine is a serious cheapy and couldn’t handle it. It might have in its prime, but she’s an old gal now. The pocket idea is adorable though! Maybe I’ll find a new sewing machine at a yard sale and be able to make one of those!

Not stupid at all. I love me some Random Steph.

I’m trying to love the SAHM thing, but I’m itching to do SOMETHING on the outside for money. I like making the money. I can’t help it.

Wow you just made me really hungry…:-)
I am an eBay-holic as well! I’ve just started selling a few things, it’s so exciting when people bid on your stuff!
A thought on the cd/music thing - have you got a file sharing program? That way you can download whatever song you like and it won’t cost you a thing!

Robyn– Yeah, I’ve done that sharing thing before and it was a disaster both times. The problem with the ones I know of is that when you download music, they also put spyware, viruses, and other unwanted things on there and not even the virus software like Mcaffee can help you then. I’ve lost 2 computers to that mistake. I’m scared to download anything for free– there’s almost always a catch, in my experience. Thanks for the suggestion though! I’d definately do it if I hadn’t had such bad experiences before.

Sissi– Yayyy for you on the eBay selling! A Tommy H. purse for $100? You just never know what people out there want until you give it a try!

I know a lot of people who have that same trouble downloading things, so I don’t blame you for being wary! I’ve had the same music file-sharing program for almost four years now and its great, I’ve never had any trouble with viruses or anything like that. I don’t know if its just a good one or if maybe I’m just really lucky!
I hope your computer fixes itself soon - I miss reading your blog!!
