What's even worse it that I'm sure you are not the only person to have ever had their teen (or adult) go over texts or minutes. The same thing happened to me and Kev when we started dating. We each had a $300 phone bill from the excessive calls. So I guess even adults can't be trusted. ;) And yet the phone companies don't put any stop gap measures in place to prevent you, the consumer from having to pay an outlandish bill. For example, if your plan allows 1000 texts, then at 1000 texts you no longer have the ability to text until either next billing cycle or you change your plan. Amazing how much we pay them for a service and they can't even provide some decent customer service. Granted, they DID call you, but not until the messages had quadrupled.
