Because I’m crazy like that…
I stayed up way past my bedtime partying my arse off. Nah. Not really. But I did finish the top of quilt #2. This one happens to be my favorite of the two even though it’s not quite finished. It’s a teensy bit smaller (44×38) but still way big enough for an infant or toddler. Pretty colors, eh?

I bought some wonderful fabrics on eBay yesterday. And I got my minky fabric in the mail last week. It’s so scrumptious and soft. So, more to come!

I can imagine a warm, soft, smelling-like-powder little one enjoying this quilt. I still have the one my grandma made me when I was a babe (just a few years ago, don’tcha know!). I could not imagine parting with it.
You’re doing a wonderful job. What was your inspiration to start quilting?
Lovely! And, I really like the fabrics and color choices.
So much more satisfying than a night of partying, yes?
I love the animal fabric in that quilt - very cute.
So cute!
How much are you selling that one for?
I had no idea you had so many talents! These are very nice.
Ooo, girl, you quilt? That’s so awesome! Lovely piece. Just dropping by to catch up and wish you and yours the Happiest of New Years! Look forward to a rockin’ bloggin’ 2008!
Beautiful quilts Steph! Are you selling them on ebay? (Sorry if I missed the post with the info) I just wanted to stop by and wish you a very happy new year!
Thanks guys! Yeah, I’ll probably sell them on Etsy.
Steph, you asked about the price on this one. I was going to try selling it for $30, since it had a bit more work into it. I’ll have some more quilts up soon with some more premium fabrics to, and I’ll sell those for $35. So, the simpler quilts with the good fabric is $25, the more quilted blankets with good fabric are $30, and the premium fabric quilts for $35. I won’t sell them (the baby blankets) for more than $35. I might sell adult lap blankets later for $40. Anyways, when this one is done (I go distracted and haven’t finished it yet), it will be $30. When I get my Etsy store going, I’ll lket everyone know!
