Because I’m crazy like that…

I stayed up way past my bedtime partying my arse off. Nah. Not really. But I did finish the top of quilt #2. This one happens to be my favorite of the two even though it’s not quite finished. It’s a teensy bit smaller (44×38) but still way big enough for an infant or toddler. Pretty colors, eh?

I bought some wonderful fabrics on eBay yesterday. And I got my minky fabric in the mail last week. It’s so scrumptious and soft. So, more to come!

  1. I can imagine a warm, soft, smelling-like-powder little one enjoying this quilt. I still have the one my grandma made me when I was a babe (just a few years ago, don’tcha know!). I could not imagine parting with it.

You’re doing a wonderful job. What was your inspiration to start quilting?

  2. Lovely! And, I really like the fabrics and color choices.

So much more satisfying than a night of partying, yes?

  8. Thanks guys! Yeah, I’ll probably sell them on Etsy.

Steph, you asked about the price on this one. I was going to try selling it for $30, since it had a bit more work into it. I’ll have some more quilts up soon with some more premium fabrics to, and I’ll sell those for $35. So, the simpler quilts with the good fabric is $25, the more quilted blankets with good fabric are $30, and the premium fabric quilts for $35. I won’t sell them (the baby blankets) for more than $35. I might sell adult lap blankets later for $40. Anyways, when this one is done (I go distracted and haven’t finished it yet), it will be $30. When I get my Etsy store going, I’ll lket everyone know!
