She adds to my life

I love this sweet girl! She’s so full of character and silliness and fun. She’s optimistic and excited about everything, and it’s so contagious that I can’t help but be excited about life with her. Everything is so new, so big, so exciting with her.

It’s not just a train blocking traffic and making me late to my appointment. It’s a “GREAT BIG SHINY CHOO-CHOO Train, Momma, and the conductor is WAVING AT ME!”

It’s not just “Ballet Fridays”, it’s: “MOMMA! I have to find my pink leotards and my pretty princess slippers and my floofy tutu and LOOK, MOMMA! Look at how I can dance like a pretty pink ballerina and today is BALLET FRIDAY, Momma!”

I can’t even put into words how beautiful and wonderful everything sounds coming out of her little lips. How much warmer the sun is, how much bluer the sky is, how much more fun colors and sounds and music is. She makes me remember the things I forgot. She reminds me to smell things, to touch things, to watch life, to experience everything. My senses are alive when she is around, not just numb and muted like they try to become as you age. This is the most beautiful, most bright, most amazing, most gorgeous girl I’ve ever known.
