I sent my roses to my step-mother and grandmother for mother’s day– I made a gorgeous bouquet and I think they will like them. I happened upon an ad today for ProFlowers (whom I used to use frequently) and decided to browse their site. There are such gorgeous flowers! I especially liked the Lily/Rose bouquet, so beautiful.

I guess I’m partial to my roses though. Not only because they were made by me, but because they just look so real. They won’t die. They don’t smell, no. But they will outlast most disposable things I’ve bought for gifts in the past.

I made myself a bouquet for Mother’s Day. It came out so lovely. I took a fugly old clear vase and painted it silver and then stuffed it full of Stepherz’s Roses.

Why spend $100 on these roses…

When I could have these (minus the crystal vase, but I can live with that) for a fraction of that cost…
