Once a week I take 4-5 prenatal vitamins and dissolve them in 2 cups of water. Then after they are all dissolved, I add that to a watering pitcher and add more water to the top (then I kind of swish it around to mix). Then, water your maters, cucumbers, etc with it. I occasionally give them leftover cool downed coffee too... but not a lot since I don't want coffee addict plants. ;) And, if you're trying to propagate clippings feed them two vitamins dissolved in water immediately after planting. Basically I just use whatever is around the house, and miracle grow can be so darned expensive sometimes. Want to know the secret of my maters?
