I’m not coloring my hair again right now, but have been contemplating doing it soon. I know God made me a brunette (or gray, as the case may now be), but he would probably forgive my using hair dye all the same. I’m not sure that I like it more one way or the other though, so I thought I’d ask you. Jeremy prefers if brown apparently, but Austin thinks that’s because the brown can be done at home with a bottle of dye for $7 and the blond has to be done in a salon for $130. Insightful kid, eh?
What do ya think?
This?…

Or That?…

In case you haven’t noticed, I’m writing some reviews. I have that trip to Tampa coming up and would love to earn a little bit of money before we go… For winter clothes shopping, or a girl’s night out, or something of the special sort. Living in a tiny town means there is so little to do (other than breath fresh air and actually see the stars at night), so I look forward to having some extra cash for a few special excursions. I mean Bush Garden tickets alone are going to be a few hundred bucks for all of us! Lastly, knowing that we won’t get another big vacation for a few years, I want to have a bit of extra cash to make it extra special! Thanks for your patience and for putting up with it!
Local.com is one of my new favorite and most often used sites. Local.com works very similarly to yellowpages.com, 411.com, and other telephone search engines, but it’s even better. Local.com combines all of the valuable content from those sites into one place– find business contact information, driving directions, and reviews from users just like you on different businesses. It’s such a useful tool to finding not only residential information, but also all that valuable local yellowpages info on businesses and services all over the US.
I live in a small town but I haven’t necessarily been to all of the businesses or local restaurants. Local.com is a useful tool for people like me who like to read a bit about a restaurant or business before I give them the benefit of the doubt. And if I’m in a particular mood for a certain kind of food, I can search in Local.com for “Chinese Restaurants” or “Italian Food.”
When I visit Tampa in September, I’m sure I’ll be overwelmed by the traffic, the number of people, the variety of businesses to visit. I fully intend to use Local.com to find all of those businesses I frequent when I travel to larger cities, as well as finding driving directions and reviews on dance clubs, restaurants, and shopping malls.
If you’re traveling somewhere new, or just want to find your dentist’s phone number, use Local.com!
Bissell visited yesterday to read my review, but they didn’t reply via e-mail. I’m sure those Big Dogs have bigger fish to fry than worrying about Lil’ Ol’ Stepherz. Poor, poor Stepherz…
Why is it that customer service isn’t important anymore? Where I come from, you want your customers to be happy so that they return, so that word-of-mouth is positive, and so that they are wowed by your attentiveness. Companies just got too big to care, didn’t they? Such a shame…
