Show ‘em Barack!

Oh my GOOOOOOOODNESSSSSS! Obama won! Whooooooop-whooop!

I just found out a few minutes ago and I am absolutely floating on the clouds. I ran outside (depsite that Jeremy told me not to and that it’s 9:30 at night) to scream a HUGE “Woooooooo-HOOOOOOO!” I don’t care– it’s cause to celebrate!

This is the most awesome day!

I just had a celebratory drink with my sweet husband.

Show ‘em, Barack. Show them how it’s done.

  3. I am so happy!
Now the US might become again this great country that it used to be.
In Europe we’re very proud of you guys and we’re finally going to stop making fun at your administration, Bush, the conservatives, etc, etc…
    Congrats!

  4. I will be praying for him as president and for our country.

I don’t know why being conservative is something to “make fun of” but whatever.

  5. I’ll be praying for wisdom and good leadership for President elect Obama. I voted for John McCain and I believe he would have made an amazing president. However the people have spoken and I, as an American, will support the leadership of my country while maintaining my personal ideals and values. I look forward to the next four years and hope that President elect Obama will lead our country with strength, compassion, and wisdom. Oh, and I’ll let my European husband know that he can relax now. No one in Europe is making fun of us anymore. LOL. Love ya Steph!

  9. American people living abroad have been ashamed of their country for many many years, just read their blog and you will see how embarrassed they were when stating their citizenship. Some where hiding their passport in immigration line at the airport.
Maybe leave the US and explore the world and you may realize what went wrong during these 8 years of Bush, educate yourself about what’s going on in the world, how Americans are being perceived, as far as making fun of conservatives, yes, everyone with a bit of a brain would find them hilarious and from another planet, don’t claim your pro-life and pro-gun, pro-death penalty in the same sentence, it’s just plain stupid… 95% of European would have voted for Obama! I think this number speaks for itself on how we view conservatives and the like of Palin, Bible bet, hillbilly
    freaks.

Now I am sorry Stepherz about stating my opinion, I will not comment here anymore, feel free to erase my comment.
    Bye!

  10. Sissi- no one at all attacked YOU, so there’s no need to be defensive. When I say I am conservative I mean that yes, I am pro-family, pro-faith, pro-life and to ME that is not funny.

If Americans living abroad are so ashamed of the USA then they can stay living abroad and that’s fine. It’s probably better for our country.
I am interested in how you would have any clue where I’ve been, what I’ve seen, who I know, etc…? Fact is, you don’t know so please don’t assume. Thanks.

“Everyone with a bit of brain…” LOL. I won’t even go there.

  11. You are both welcome to air your opinions and feelings; I don’t begrudge that at all. I adore you both and appreciate your friendship. You both are beautiful sweet friends. We don’t all agree all the time. I’m sure you both have read things on my blog that made you roll your eyes; but you still visit me anyways. Don’t leave now, Sissi. We’ve got too much history for that. ;-)
