Thanks guys! Jenny, work definitely slows down a bit for everyone in the winter months. But this is a little bit worse. Usually there is some construction going on somewhere. But this year many construction sites have halted because of the economy and the banks not financing anymore growth. Businesses everywhere are going under. It's scary. And being an independent contractor means no unemployment benefits.

I think he will find work though, if nothing else he can change fields for awhile until it picks back up. We've always lived under our means so that we wouldn't hurt too much if he lost work for a spell. We don't have car payments, cable, any thing extra or frilly. So our only real bills are the basics (besides cell phones and internet). Which is so nice! I'm not going to worry too much because we've always been blessed.

Sabine didn't seem like the type to get into any trouble or to keep company that was dangerous. But she was lonely, I think. She was a very classy and sharp woman. I think the boyfriend was her way of rebounding from her separation from Stacey's dad. I'll admit that he gave me the heebie jeebies and I couldn't quite put my finger on why at the time. Unfortunately they did have some workers there that were on work release from prison, as I understand it. Who knows if one of those employees were part of this. The boyfriend is definitely a suspect, in my opinion. I just hope she's ok and comes home soon...

wow. that's too bad. after reading that article i'm glad you guys came back safe considering the company that seems to have been kept on those grounds. also, sorry to hear about jeremy's job. that soo sucks. isn't that how it usually is for him in the winter months though? or is this something different? i hope it all works out and you seem to think it will!
