American Home Furnishings of Albuquerque

Don’t buy your furniture there. They have terrible customer service and they treat you like a nim-witted idiot when THEY make a mistake.

First of all, American Home delivers the Sealy mattress WITHOUT law tags. There’s not even any evidence that the tags were ever there. AND? Then they deny our request for a new mattress when ours started caving in because of a tiny stain that is NO LONGER THERE and for the lack of law tags THAT WERE NEVER THERE! Are you serious?

Bad business. Very bad business.  American Home, in this economy, you should value your reputation and treat loyal customers like they are important. I didn’t want my money back, I just wanted an exchange and to be treated fairly.

It’s unfortunate.

  1. I listen to Clark Howard on Talk radio. He is a money guru. Google him and go to his web site. He will try to get issues resolved for comsumers. One thing he tells you to try is to picket with large signs in front of the store and tell everyone who comes near the store to not shop there. He says take your kids. He swears they will try to resolve something then because they cannot take the negative advertisements!! He may call Sealy for you. Call the BBB and report this. Good Luck.

  2. I made a report with BBB last night. Thanks for your suggestions. I live 3 hours from the store, so I don’t think it would be easy to picket. I’m trying to make an impact online. I have written a review for them through BBB too. Maybe I’ll try contacting this Howard guy. Thanks so much!
